Changement de quille sous garantie pour FARO, nécessitant un retour au chantier pour l'hiver 2024-2025. La quille s'oxyde inexorablement dans l'eau. On soupçonne une mauvaise protection de départ et peut-être des courants de fuite dans le port.

Wintering of the boat  -  by robin

Yesterday we wintered FARO: the sailing season is over.

After rigging FARO last week and positioning it on its trailer, Jean-François and I dismasted and stored all the sails and accessories in the cockpit.

FARO will spend the winter at USHIP Dunkerque to leave by road to La Rochelle in the spring to do her first yearly overhaul. There are indeed some adjustments and repairs to be done by the yard.
